What?

Melonmars.io makes it possible to acquire a piece of land on (virtual) Mars. Here the possibility is to be created that the fictitious area is represented by MelonMars Tokens (MELON). Through this, an investment in the token shall directly enable the investment in a virtual area on Mars. The idea of the "buy and hold" principle is to be catalyzed in order to, profit from the increase in value of a plot of land, similar to the real world.

How?

In order for the vision of Melonmars.io to become a reality, it is necessary to design a smart contract that meets the requirements, namely to describe a token that in the maximum number of units reflects the number of square kilometers on the real Mars to enable the investment on the virtual Mars. (Accordingly, the maximum number of 144,800,000 tokens will be achieved, corresponding to the surface area of the planet Mars) The smart contract will be implemented on the BEP-20 blockchain, the so-called Binance Smart Chain. The aspiration of Melonmars.io is to enable cost-efficient, fast and secure transactions for acquiring and trading the tokens, respectively the properties.

Solution:

Melonmars.io has created a decentralized liquidity pool on Pancakeswap.finance for the participation and interactions in the project, respectively the trading of the tokens. This pool can now be used to buy and sell the tokens we initially provided as liquidity. We would like to encourage you that at DEFI it is also possible to provide liquidity yourself, which gives you shares in the transaction fees of the pool, analogous to the description of the function of how to generate returns with acquired properties on virtual Mars (see above). This aspect enables the steady growth of Melonmars.io, its associated community, as well as the token's economy. Further, features and scaling possibilities of the project (see step 2 of the roadmap) can thus be realized in the future.
